Grill The PERFECT Grass-Fed Hamburger (Step #2)

Preheat the grill to at least 475℉. No thermometer? If you can hold your hand about 4” above the grate for no more than 5-seconds, it’s ready. I use this trick at home when frying these patties on the stove in my cast iron skillet. As you can imagine the kitchen gets smokey but wow is it worth it! If you are using a grill though, once it is hot, use a wire brush to clean the grates, then lightly oil them to keep the burger patty from sticking.
